Hi, I’m Francesco. I grew up in Milan, Italy, where I first sat behind a drum kit in my early teens. What began as jamming with friends quickly turned into something much deeper: a lifelong fascination with rhythm and the endless possibilities it offers.
That curiosity carried me beyond rock into the worlds of jazz, Afro-Cuban, and funk. These styles didn’t just change the way I played, but they completely reshaped the way I listened, felt, and connected with music. They’ve stayed at the heart of my journey ever since.
Now based in Connecticut, my focus is on steady practice and continuous growth. Every rehearsal, every group setting, and every quiet hour behind the kit adds something new to the way I approach the instrument.
I’ve been fortunate to study with inspiring musicians including Rick Dior (currently), John Cutrone, and Bobby Thomas Jr. Each one has influenced me in unique ways, from refining technique and coordination to deepening my sense of rhythm and musicality. Their guidance keeps me grounded in the belief that no matter how much you learn, you’re always a student of the instrument.
What keeps me hooked on drumming isn’t just the sound, it’s the chance to grow, share, and discover something new every time I sit at the kit.
